Tree Care * Crew Member Dave's Tree Service is looking for a hardworking, dependable individual to join our team as a Tree Groundsman Crew Member. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a crew that keeps trees healthy and properties looking great, this could be a great fit for you. This is a full-time, year-round position with opportunities to learn and grow. Pay depends on your experience and skills. We are currently offering a sign on bonus of $1,500. After 90 days, you will be eligible for health, dental, vison, disability and life insurance, plus 7 paid holidays. Basic job Duties: • Help with tree maintenance and removal while following safety protocols • Cleanup and removal of tree debris from job sites • Work closely with crew members to complete projects efficiently • Keep the work area clean and organized • Operate large trucks and pull trailers as needed • Demonstrate strong work ethic, motivation and attention to detail • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening Advance Duties: • Help with rigging and rope work for tree removals and pruning • Operate equipment such as aerial lifts, mini skid steers, and grapple trucks • Use basic tree cutting techniques for pruning, felling, and shaping trees, both on the ground and in the canopy Qualifications: • At least one 1 year experience in tree care, landscaping, or groundskeeping preferred • Willing to learn and grow with the team • Physically fit and able to handle demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions • Dependable, safety-conscious, and skilled in communication and teamwork We pride ourselves in top quality work and having a strong, supportive team!
