This position will be working closely with various departments including Accounting, Finance, Operations, and others to solve complex problems that directly impacts Samsung SDSA financial reporting. The successful candidate will drive business insight through data analysis and leading to implementation of actions to improve processes, detailed reviews of operating expenses, and headcount forecasting. This position will be part of tackling cost improvement initiatives and create standard reporting to help leaders make spending and headcount decisions across the organization. Perform SAP system operation during month-end closing, forecasting and annual business planning. Download, upload financial reports and files. Maintain allocation cycle, run closing allocation, and trouble-shooting system issues. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of month-end financial and CO closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Conduct thorough examination and analysis of financial statements to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement through variance analysis. Business Insight and Reporting: Deliver insightful financial reports to management, providing valuable business insights to optimize revenue and control cost. Regularly monitor and report financial key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and identify areas for improvement. Budget Control and Planning: Monitor and analyze budget control, investment planning, and cost center budget performance, providing recommendations for optimization. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial forecasts and annual business planning and budgeting processes. Business Planning Support: Provide support for regular business planning cycles, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with strategic goals. Ad-Hoc Reporting and Communication: Generate ad-hoc reports on financial metrics as required, providing timely insights to support decision-making. Facilitate communication between Regional Headquarters (RHQ) in the US and Headquarters (HQ) in Korea, ensuring effective information exchange and coordination. Requirements Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field required Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budget management. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., SAP CO Module) and advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proactive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset. Location: 3033 W.
