Serpentix Conveyor, LLC is seeking a full-time, skilled and detail-oriented Welder with expertise with structural & sheet metal fabrication to join our fabrication group. This position would require candidates to fulfill responsibilities on the fabrication shop floor (100%). We are a dynamic custom fabrication company specializing in high-quality metalwork and conveyor systems for a variety of industries. We’re looking for a skilled welder to join our growing team and contribute to the fabrication of custom components and conveyor systems. As a welder, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of welding tasks including MIG, TIG, and Stick on various metals such as carbon mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. You will work closely with other fabricators team-mates, our engineering group, and executive team to build custom parts and conveyor systems to exact specifications. Duties & Key Responsibilities: • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols. • Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW welding on a variety of metals. • Fabricate and assemble custom metal components and conveyor systems. • Operate cutting, grinding, and finishing tools to prepare and complete welds. • Inspect welds for quality and accuracy, ensuring compliance with specifications. • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication challenges. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols. • Assist in the setup and operation of welding and fabrication equipment. . Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED equivalent. • Proven experience in MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW welding. • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Experience with conveyor systems or industrial fabrication is a plus. • Familiarity with welding safety standards and PPE requirements. • Certification in welding (AWS or equivalent) preferred but not required. • Ability to lift and move heavy materials and stand for extended periods. Preferred Skills (Optional): • Welding certificates for strength and weld penetration. Compensation: Hourly or Salary wage is depending on experience and knowledge.
