Inspection & Diagnostics: Use computerized diagnostic tools and knowledge of vehicles systems to identify problems. Repair: Replace or repair worn or faulty parts, including brake pads, sensors and suspension components. Understand and repair various vehicle systems, such as engine, transmission, braking, and AC. Communicate about vehicle issues and maintain records on maintenance and repairs. Essential skills: Good understanding of how vehicle parts and systems work together. Must have ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools. Must be to perform tasks that involve bending, reaching and lifting. You must be willing and able to learn new things.
