Description: We're looking for a Finishing Carpenter to help us with various projects in the Portland Metro Area and possibly in Central Oregon. This position is a 1099 position. Opportunities for additional work are available to applicants with additional skill sets. Responsibilities: High-quality finish carpentry work, including installation of trim, moldings, doors, cabinetry, and other custom woodwork Meeting standards for precision, durability, and aesthetics Working with company owner to ensure timely scheduling and completion of projects. Requirements: Professional finishing carpentry experience Solid base of knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools Ability to work independently. Attention to detail Compensation: $30 - DOE

The Residential Collection Driver will operate a residential system truck, empty or have the helper empty residential customers’ containers into the truck, and deliver loads to designated landfills, transfer stations or recycling centers. This position will operate the assigned vehicle in compliance with government regulations pertaining to trucking and waste operations and will provide courteous, professional service to all customers. Starting pay is $35/hr + $3000 attendance bonus Operators will be on call and must be able report to all shifts at any time of day or night November 1st - April 15. Paid training will take place during October and November. Most shifts will be during overnight hours. During severe storms shifts may be 12+ hours long with only 8 hours off between shifts. Operators must be physically able to safely operate tractor, replace shear pins, and unclog blowers. Operators must be mentally and physically able to drive, operate, and work in adverse weather conditions. No shovel work is required. Tractors do have climate controlled cabs. No experience is necessary but snow or heavy equipment experience is preferred. Operators will receive thorough training on safely operating a tractor with an inverted snow blower.
