Support Staff / Assistant – Design Engineering Department Location: Westminster, CA | In-Office | Immediate Start | Full time We are a Telecom Design Engineering company seeking a Support Staff / Assistant to join our team immediately. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting our Engineering Departments. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, motivated, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Position Overview • Title: Support Staff / Assistant • Type: Temporary / Full-Time • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Some weekend work may be required with prior notice) • Pay: Starting at $20.00/hour (based on experience) • Location: On-site in Westminster, CA Primary Responsibilities • Perform heavy data entry and manage internal databases • Calendar management and appointment scheduling • Create and maintain tracking spreadsheets for billing, invoices, and submittals • Audit and review project documents • Update status reports and maintain logs of new jobs • Submit forms and applications to various agencies • Format and create documents using MS Word & Excel • Minor document corrections and content revisions • Perform general office duties: filing, copying, and organizational tasks • Provide light phone coverage and team support via Microsoft Teams Qualifications • Must be able to type at least 60 WPM • Proficiency in: - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook - Adobe • Strong organizational and multitasking skills • Professional verbal and written communication • Positive, team-oriented, and customer-focused mindset • Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle shifting priorities • Must be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team How to Apply Please submit your resume to be considered for this position. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT UNIT The Business Development unit impacts agency-wide operations by supporting and growing various programs. The unit is comprised of program administrative and operational support, and contracts management. A DAY IN THE LIFE Program Operations Specialists provide support to our clinical programs including care coordination and behavioral health. This includes working in electronic health records and databases to ensure the work is recorded and billed correctly, providing support to clinicians, working with subcontractors and payers, and satisfying the reporting requirements of each program. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS 10-Step pay range: $27.66 - $36.09 hourly NWRC salary ranges are comprised of a 10-Step scale. On their employment anniversary, employees are eligible for an annual pay increase to the next step in the associated salary range, subject to satisfactory performance. In addition to the annual pay increases, NWRC assesses cost of living adjustments (COLA) on an annual basis, subject to Governing Board approval. New employees at NWRC usually start at the first step in the position’s assigned salary range. NWRC may consider a higher step when evaluating the candidate’s experience, training, or proven capability. Internal equity will be reviewed and prioritized when determining a starting pay rate. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Broad knowledge of the legal, contractual and financial requirements relates to NWRC programs. Demonstrated ability to work with databases, word processing and spreadsheets at an intermediate skill level. Ability to perform complex data analysis and compile data driven summaries. Ability to analyze situations accurately and adopt effective course of action. Ability to provide technical support/explain complex program processes to staff and community partners. Ability to work independently, including organizing and prioritizing assignments, drafting routine correspondence, trouble shooting and problem solving. Ability to work with efficiency and flexibility under frequent pressure of deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, provider, and staff information.
