At Aslin Automation, we are a custom design-and-build machine shop specializing in robotics and advanced automation solutions. Our team of about 10 talented individuals—ranging from technicians to engineers—works together to bring machines to life through design, machining, fabrication, electrical and pneumatic integration. We regularly work with a wide range of materials including stainless steel, aluminum and mild steel. Using these materials, we build custom frames, guards and a wide variety of “weldments” depending on the form factor of the particular custom machine. Key Responsibilities to include but not limited to:  Fabricate and weld mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.  Build and assemble machine frames, guarding, and components.  Create estimates and procure materials  Work with precision to ensure high-quality, custom builds.  Perform PC-based work related to job setup and documentation.  Occasional field work installing and or modifying equipment. Requirements:  Minimum 5 years of practical fabrication/welding experience.  Proficient in PC use and comfortable working with digital tools.  Familiarity with eDrawings or experience viewing 3D models.  Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.  Basic machining capabilities (cutting, drilling, grinding, milling, turning).  Understanding of the most common materials’ properties, specifically during machining and welding processes.  Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or on a team in a fast-paced environment. Additional desirables:  Familiarity with Solidworks or other 3D CAD software.  Machining capabilities (or experience other than fabrication purposes) beyond the basic requirements listed above. We are looking to hire an additional paint shop assistant. We custom make kitchens, vanities, built-ins, closets and many more things. Everything is prepped and spray finished in house. Your daily tasks would be to prep and sand cabinet frames, sand doors, tape off cabinets and get them ready to go into the spray booth. This job is a 40-hour position, 5 days a week. No weekends. We offer ( 4 paid holidays, paid vacation, Anthem health insurance) You must be able to lift 30-75 pounds and have a good eye for detail.
