Day Porter (2-3 days per week) 9am-2pm (flexible start) This is a shared position with another Day Porter on opposite days. Essentially a Day Porter is responsible for making sure our client's building looks professional, clean, presentable and inviting at all times, especially between regular cleanings performed at night by additional staff. Day Porters will work amongst our clients' but act discreetly and not interfere with clients' daily operations. Day Porter will be in charge of refreshing bathrooms (cleaning mirrors, sinks, toilets as needed, paper products refilled, trash removed etc.) cleaning coffee stations, wiping cafeteria tables- general trash removal from these areas, vacuuming cafeteria, entryways as needed throughout, putting away supplies in supply closets as needed, etc. This is a wonderful property that we take care of, they treat us all very well. Local Truck Driver Responsibilities: -Safely transporting goods to and from specified locations according to company delivery schedules. -Maintaining an accurate logbook of driving activities, detailing the number of hours worked, deliveries completed, and rest periods. -Liaising with Superintendent and Job Foreman to communicate any Material issues and/or delays. -Properly secure goods to ensure that they are not damaged in transit. -Assisting in the loading and unloading of Truck, using hand trucks and forklifts as required. -Notifying management of any accidents, parking tickets, vehicle damage, and major maintenance issues. -Ensuring that the company truck is clean and well-maintained at all times. -Basic mechanical knowledge of truck maintenance Local Truck Driver Requirements: -High school diploma or GED. -Class A commercial driver's license (CDL). -Proven experience driving trucks. -A clean driving record. -Sound knowledge of road safety regulations. -The ability to utilize GPS and local road maps. -The ability to operate hand trucks and electric lifts, or forklifts.
