Scotty Browns Socialhouse is currently seeking applicants to fill a bartender position immediately at our Bellingham Airport (BLI) location! If modern cuisine and craft cocktails, high-quality ingredients, a fun, engaging environment, and the opportunity to be an extension of management in a growing company speak to you - we encourage you to apply! General hours of operation are daily, from 5am - 6pm (pending any flight schedule changes or delays). Must have early morning and weekend availability. Relevant Skills: - Genuine passion for people and the hospitality industry - Enthusiastic and friendly - Bar experience required - Knowledgeable about food, wine, beer, and spirits - Cares about working in a clean and safe environment - Great communication skills - Works well under pressure - Maintains a professional appearance at all times - Ensures that guests have a positive and memorable experience - Makes teamwork a priority Minimum Requirements: - At least 21 years of age. - Minimum 1 year bartending experience - Maintains a current state alcohol serving permit (bar and server) and a food handlers permit - Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including lunches, weekends and some holidays. - Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds. - Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.
