**Heavy Equipment Operator** Ryatt Construction LLC is seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of site operations, can operate a variety of heavy machinery with precision, and is a dependable member of a hard-working team. **Responsibilities:** * Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including but not limited to bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders. * Perform tasks such as excavation, grading, trench digging, and material loading. * Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and preventative maintenance checks to ensure proper and safe functioning. * Adhere to all company and government safety regulations, including OSHA standards. * Coordinate machine actions with other crew members using hand signals or radio communication. * Work in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing project needs. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. **Qualifications:** * Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator, with 2+ years of hands-on experience in a construction environment. * Proficiency in operating a variety of heavy machinery. * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. * Strong understanding of site plans, grade stakes, and GPS controls including TRIMBLE. * OSHA certification is a plus. * Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. **Benefits:** * Competitive wages based on experience. * Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance. * Paid time off and 401(k) retirement plan. * Opportunities for career growth and ongoing training. * Year-round work opportunities. * **Sign-on Bonus:** Receive a competitive sign-on bonus upon joining our team. * We live our values of Quality, Cutting Edge Problem Solving, and Success every day. **Hiring Process:** As part of the interview process, shortlisted candidates will complete a hands-on equipment assessment.
