This position you will be working with high quality wood flooring using expertise in various finishes and techniques to create a high-quality finished product. Requirements of the Production Color Specialist: Experience in color matching preferred Expertise in various wood finishing techniques Strong understanding of coating materials Ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable transportation Detail oriented, self-motivated and results driven Ideally experience in the Cabinet or Flooring Industry Shift hours: 6am – 3:30pm, Monday - Friday Benefits of the Job: Pay rate $25/hour +, Depending on experience Medical and Dental insurance Paid Time Off Life Insurance On-the-job0training 401K retirement plan Responsibilities of the Production Color Specialist: Report to Director of Manufacturing Develop color working hand in hand with chemical supplier and production team Monitor operations to ensure quality standards are upheld in all aspects of the finishing process Select and apply appropriate coatings (e.g., Stains, sealers, etc.) based on product requirements Identify and resolve coating defects Experience in Color preferred – to perform in this position you need to have an “eye” for color WW Flooring Group is owned as a partner business between Kennebec Lumber Company (Solon, ME) and Premier Hardwood Products (Syracuse, NY).
