WaveMAX Laundry Laundry Attendant (Full-Time / Part-Time) About Us WaveMAX is a national laundromat brand with a local focus. WaveMAX Laundry Attendants are responsible for assisting self-service customers, maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment, and processing Wash-Dry-Fold (WDF) orders per WaveMAX procedures. Location: WaveMAX Laundry – Kent, WA (25642 Pacific Hwy S) Pay: $18.00 – $21.50/hour (Based on Experience) Reports To: Store Manager / Owner Responsibilities • Greet and assist self-service customers with machines, payment systems, and general questions • Provide excellent customer service aligned with WaveMAX brand standards • Process Wash-Dry-Fold (WDF) orders with correct sorting, chemical handling, and folding standards • Keep the store clean: machines, folding tables, restrooms, customer areas • Handle over-the-counter sales of detergent and related laundry items • Maintain machine function (empty lint traps, report issues quickly) • Maintain register accuracy and perform shift change procedures • Ensure safety and security protocols are followed What We’re Looking For: • Experience managing staff in retail/service • Ability to create a positive in-store culture • Positive and problem-solving attitude • Organized, reliable, and customer-focused • POS knowledge (Laundroworks, Cents, etc.) helpful • Spanish a plus Qualifications • Strong attention to cleanliness and detail • Positive, friendly, and customer-focused attitude • Ability to stand for long periods and lift laundry bags up to 30 lbs • Fluent in English; bilingual a plus • Most important qualification: o Friendly and helpful to customers. o Proactive Initiative o Positive Attitude o Reliable Benefits • Competitive hourly pay • Flexible scheduling (full-time and part-time shifts available) • Opportunity to grow into lead or supervisory roles
