DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES •           Directs production Work Order execution with prioritization from Production Manager, coordinates supporting equipment setup and line clearance operations, and team activities for equipment preventative maintenance. •           Participates in Production Planning meetings to provide Work Order execution status and scheduling updates. •           Participates hands-on in IM&A activities including work order execution, process equipment setup and shut down operations, mold/material/tooling changes, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and required quality assurance activities. •           Sustains on-going training and development of IM&A team members on all injection molding and machine automation processes, along with required quality assurance inspections to confirm production parts meet LEMO quality standards and dimensional requirements per drawings. •           Monitors processes at start up, production, and shut down to ensure the proper operation of injection molding and over-molding machines, automated pin insertion machines, and other IM&A work area process equipment. •           Collaborates with Engineering and Quality to investigate root causes of molding and secondary operation issues; helps with implementing corrective actions and process control plans. •           Provides input and participates in continuous improvement projects on cycle time reduction, process and machine up-time improvements, and scrap/waste reduction •           Follows all policies and work rules including but not limited to safety, 5S (housekeeping), Lean Manufacturing practices and quality systems •           Assists with new mold samples, verifies that process parameters are set per the process qualification documentation, collects and provides requested documentation of results. •           Other duties as assigned See job posting for more specific details and job qualifications. Performs routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on transit buses, trucks, automobiles, and related equipment as well as assist other mechanics with more complex repairs to comply with manufacturer specifications and schedules.  Perform all routine, preventative and general maintenance on all BT vehicles to comply with manufacturers specifications.   Prepare work orders and maintain records of labor and usage of parts, supplies, fuel and tires.  Protect and secure parts, supplies, and maintenance facility.  Assist with inspection of department vehicles and equipment; perform weekly maintenance such as washing, greasing and checking fluid levels.  Inspect, troubleshoot, adjust and repair/replace lighting, electrical, mechanical, air conditioning components, including but not limited to seat inserts/cushions, ad racks, interior and exterior panels not requiring fabrication and applying touch-up paint on all transit vehicles.  Replace water pumps, generators, light bulbs, switches, tires, air systems, steering components, batteries, body interior/exterior panels, change oil, engine and transmission fluids, change oil filters.  Candidates will be required to obtain a CDL through our in-house training program.  This is a second shift position; starting wage $20/hour Apply now in 2 minutes!
