Provide regular reports and insights on cloud spending trends, optimization efforts, and cost-saving achievements. Work closely with development teams to optimize application performance and reduce cloud costs without impacting service quality. Participate in the design and deployment of highly available and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI. Lead initiatives to educate teams on best practices for cloud cost management and efficiency. Drive a culture of cost-awareness and financial accountability within the tech department. Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 1 years of experience as a developer with cloud engineering. Proven experience as a Java Developer and in-depth knowledge of Spring Boot framework. Experience with database design concepts and data modeling for RDBMS (MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra). Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Hands-on experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes. Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) with a strong focus on FinOps best practices and experience implementing cost-saving solutions. English-speaking environment, bilingual proficiency in Mandarin preferred. Design and develop embedded networking products, leading chipset bring-up, SDK integration, and application development across multiple hardware platforms. Partner with hardware teams to implement hardware-dependent functions and resolve integration challenges. Develop and optimize software features while analyzing and troubleshooting networking issues to ensure robust, high-performance connectivity. Create clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, software architecture, and other necessary documents to support future development, maintainability, and effective collaboration. Lead design and code reviews to ensure high-quality standards, resolve issues, and incorporate team feedback. Manage the software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and effective coordination with QA teams on testing and issue resolution. Oversee firmware releases and maintain detailed documentation, user manuals, and change logs for each update. Ensure product readiness for production by developing manufacturing tools, facilitating certifications, and providing on-site support as required. Investigate and address customer-reported issues, implementing firmware updates to enhance performance and resolve issues. Mentor junior engineers to enhance their coding, debugging, and software design skills, fostering team growth and capability. Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in embedded systems design and development. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and assembly. Experience with embedded operating systems (e.g., Linux) and device drivers. Solid knowledge of communication protocols, such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi. Hands-on experience developing networking products, including access points, routers, and switches. Thorough knowledge of network protocols and standards, including HTTPS, DHCP, IPv4, and IPv6, with familiarity in Linux bridge and network stack internals. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Strong understanding of professional software engineering practices and the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or in leading an engineering team. Experience developing products using Wi-Fi 6/7 chipsets. Expanding business currently looking for workers (part or full time, preferential consideration given to full) who are interested in getting paid to assist in the examination, testing, cosmetic grading & repair, when necessary, of consumer electronics such as video games accessories (controllers, headsets, racing wheels & more), video game consoles, and other assorted consumer electronics. The job does not require a significant amount of experience however preferable candidates will have a basic knowledge of how to work consumer electronics one might find in the home. The position will require identifying an item's functionality, denoting if there's a deficiency in this regard, determining if the item is missing accompanying accessories, and prospectively performing some light repairs (training will be provided). This is a ground floor position as there are significant growth opportunities possible (dedicated repair technician(s), senior inspection line management & more may become available in time). Candidates are expected to be reliable, accountable, hard working and committed team players. Core Systems, a leader in rugged computer and server solutions for mission-critical defense and industrial applications, is seeking a Computer Repair Technician to join our RMA and repair operations team. This position focuses on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing customer-returned products and Core Systems–built servers. Resume Required. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair on returned computer systems, servers, and components. Process RMA units through inspection, testing, and documentation. Repair hardware at the system, component, and board level when required. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action reports for customer returns. Work closely with engineering and production teams to support continuous improvement. Maintain accurate service records and ensure timely turnaround of customer units. Qualifications Proven hands-on experience repairing computer systems, servers, or related IT hardware. Strong knowledge of hardware components (motherboards, CPUs, memory, storage, power supplies, etc.). Experience with diagnostic tools and test equipment. Ability to read schematics and follow technical documentation. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under time-sensitive conditions.
