JW Pepper distribution center is hiring to fill several positions in print services, full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday thru Friday.  All applicants must be flexible to accommodate seasonal overtime, which includes some evening and Saturday hours.  All applicants must adhere to a strict attendance policy.  Starting wage $16.00 an hour.  Applicants must successfully pass all pre-hire screenings, including background checks and drug tests. Job Description The print services position is responsible for providing quality printed materials for customers that require Print-On-Demand music, and any other professionally printed items. Responsible for keeping machines running by clearing jams, adding new paper stock, alerting print operators of situations they cannot rectify. Collect and gather all printed materials and match with job tickets. Monitor the print quality and ensure all components of a product are present before assembly. In an effort, to provide the highest level of customer service, all warehouse associates will be cross trained to be proficient in other basic warehouse functions, such as inventory maintenance, order fulfillment and quality control. Responsibilities Machine operation, maintenance, calibration, minor repairs on all work related equipment Loading, running and unloading print jobs while overseeing and guiding the print process Adjust machine settings for different job requirements, including paper size Check printed material for clarity, accuracy, quality, finishing and other production factors Monitor supply materials such as paper, toner, ink, staples to maintain supplies during equipment operation Pack and label product and boxes to prepare for shipment Ensure timely completion of all work orders Train others in machine operations Maintains cleanliness of work area Follows all safety protocols and guidelines Follow company policies as outlined in the employee handbook Requirements General knowledge of windows operation Schedule flexibility to accommodate seasonal overtime requirements including weekend work Technical and mechanical knowledge – ability to trouble shoot Attention to detail and precision Mathematical skills needed, including the use of a tape measure Critical thinking and problem solving skills Ability to work under pressure with strong motivation and a sense of urgency Physical strength – Must be able to lift 30+ lbs frequently Physical stamina – Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods; Must be capable of twisting, stooping, squatting, bending and reaching above shoulder level on a frequent basis Must be able to operate an RF scanner gun. Ideum is seeking a skilled and dedicated Hardware Workshop Manager to lead daily operations in our hardware workshop.  This full-time, on-site role is essential to maintaining an efficient, clean, and safe facility while ensuring production goals and quality standards are upheld. The Hardware Workshop Manager works with our support and logistics leads and also works with our procurement staff to ensure that all critical components are in stock.  The Hardware Workshop Manager works under the direction of Ideum's Founder. They collaborate closely with our staff of exhibit technicians to ensure that our products are quality-built and that our lead times are low. The Hardware Workshop Manager works closely with our sales staff to help ensure fluid communication between our team members and our customers. Our touch table products are produced in small batches or built to order. Our touch table products have been sold in 60 countries around the world. This in-person position is at Ideum's studios in scenic Corrales, New Mexico (near Albuquerque and an hour from Santa Fe). Key Responsibilities Shop Management and Scheduling Manage daily scheduling of fabrication work based on project priorities and deadlines. Maintain clear and regular communication with our Sales group to ensure low lead times. Monitor progress and proactively adjust workflows to meet production milestones. Assign work to exhibit technicians to maximize productivity. Facility and Equipment Oversight Ensure the shop is clean, safe, and organized at all times. Schedule preventative maintenance and repairs. Support safety protocols and enforce safe working practices among all staff and collaborators. Ensure maintenance of all Workshop equipment, including 3D printers, hand tools, and other items. Quality Control and Documentation Ensure that Exhibit Technicians correctly assemble, test, check the checklist, and pack products for delivery.  Review documentation and make adjustments for improvement or new additions. Coordinate with shipping and Sales teams to support packing and readiness of finished items. Team Leadership and Support Provide daily leadership on the shop floor, acting as the primary point of contact for Workshop staff. Support training in a variety of areas. Mentor junior and mid-level Exhibit Technicians, sharing best practices. Encourage a culture of precision, problem-solving, and accountability. What You Bring Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in management, preferably in manufacturing, tech, or related field. Demonstrated experience managing people and coordinating complex build schedules. Strong familiarity with PCs, scheduling, and office software. Excellent working knowledge of various tools and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
