Ready to help shape the future of technology? This short but impactful 1-hour study aims to improve human movement recognition via artificial intelligence technology. Project Overview For this study, we are seeking participants from all demographic backgrounds! Individuals aged 13 and older will be video recorded while performing basic movements, walking up and down stairs both indoors and outdoors, and engaging in activities such as walking around a residential home. Research is being conducted in the Seattle, WA metro area. 13-17-year-olds need a legal guardian to register, provide consent, and need to be accompanied for the session. Compensation: Participants will be compensated for completed sessions. An additional half hour is required to check in for appointments and is not included in session times. Our current sessions are compensated at the following rates: For 1-hour sessions: Adults: $100 Seniors: $125 Minors: $140 Payments will be made via Hyperwallet, where you can choose PayPal, bank transfer, or Venmo as the payment method. Do you experience clinical depression? Do you feel like you are always tired, no matter how much sleep you get? Are you between the ages of 21 and 55? Are you willing to spend time recording and monitoring your sleep? You may be eligible for one of our current research studies. Our research lab at the University of Pennsylvania is conducting several research studies on sleep, sleep problems, and their relationship to mental health. Good sleep is a foundation for health and well-being and we are trying to improve our understanding of these areas. We are looking for participants for our studies and are hoping you might be interested in getting involved to help us advance science. You will: Complete several questionnaires Complete a daily sleep diary for a week Have your sleep monitored overnight at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania om two nights and one full day.
