Hello, We are HI LIFE DIVE Looking for a mechanic / carpenter that knows his way around Diesel engines and small gas engines. We have a dive company in Washington state with a fleet of boats that constantly require maintanance and upkeeping ranging 30-45ft. We also have projects that require some construction and fabrication so we are looking for someone who knows their way around power tools. The more skill sets you have the better The more tools you have knowledge of and access to the better Pay per hour $25-$35 Also option for additional % crew share. Ability to assist in Commercial Diving Operation as Dive Tender or run the boat. Which pays per lbs, the more pounds of clams we harvest the more money everybody makes including crew, company, purchasers and clients. WIN/WIN Everyone is interested in everyone doing well. We are a small remodeling company based out of Westford looking to hire an experienced entry level journeyman/carpenter. We pride ourselves on the quality and not the quantity of the projects we work on. We are not just carpenters but craftsmen and always give the client the highest quality of work we can. The candidate should like being a carpenter and working on the items listed below and not just showing up for work every day for a paycheck. Also, candidates that are not used to precise work and quality should not apply. We are looking for the following in a candidate: Four (4) or more years of professional remodeling/new construction experience preferred Must be reliable, punctual and clean cut Must be a team player (you will need to help set up the equipment in the morning and clean up at the end of the day) Must have a good work history Must have references upon request Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Smoking is not permitted while working on the job-site Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds or more Must be comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights Must be able to read a tape measure Must have working knowledge of a variety of building material Must have working knowledge of laser levels Job responsibilities: Work with owner, lead and apprentice carpenters on a variety of tasks related to remodeling and new construction projects using a variety of building materials. Install interior trim including baseboard, window and door casing (which includes profile and non-profile casing) - being able to install crown moulding would be a plus. You need to be able to cope joints using a coping saw, grinder or jig saw. Pick up supplies at local lumber yards and hardware stores as well as other suppliers. Tools and Equipment: Must have working knowledge and are able to cut without any difficulty using table saws and compound sliding mitre saws. We currently use a DeWalt Table Saw (DWE7491X) and DeWalt Compound Sliding Mitre Saw (DWS780). Please do not apply if you do not know how to use a table saw or compound sliding mitre saw. Must have your own “professional” style tool belt with basic hand tools including metal speed square (not plastic), chalk line (blue color chalk), sixteen-ounce (16 oz) hammer (not a framing hammer) and a nail set with two different size points. We will supply a tape measure. Projects and Locations: The projects we work on are frame to finish and include the following: Kitchens, Bathrooms, Decks, Built-Ins, Additions, Rot Repair, Interior/Exterior Trim, Siding, Door and Windows as well as a variety of other remodeling/new construction projects. We work along Route 2, Route 128 and Route 495. Some of our upcoming projects are located in Wakefield, Newton, Concord, Westford and Tyngsboro. Before applying we recommend that you Google the distance between these towns and where you live so you know how far you will be traveling each way/every day. Salary and Benefits: Pay rate is between $28.00 - $40.00/hr and is based on experience, skill and quality (with emphasis on quality).
