We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Workroom Assistant to join our busy alterations studio. In this role, you will work on a wide variety of garments—from casual wear to formal and bridal attire—ensuring the highest quality standards for every client. Key Responsibilities Perform garment alterations and repairs using industrial sewing machines (single needle, cover stitch, overlock, blind hem). Work with a wide range of fabrics, including delicate bridal materials and tailored menswear. Collaborate with the team to ensure projects meet deadlines and quality expectations. Maintain an organized and efficient workroom, including inventory and supplies. Follow safety protocols and uphold a clean, professional environment. Requirements Minimum 2 years of alterations experience (formal wear, bridal, casual, and menswear). Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques and finishing methods. Experience with a variety of industrial sewing machines. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dismantles and repairs, replaces, or reassembles electrical, electronic, and pneumatic control AC units and associated HVAC units.
