MACHINIST 2 (CNC): STARTING AT $24.00 - $30.00 AN HOUR All Star labor and Staffing is now looking to hire a Machinist 2 in the Woodburn area. The Machinist 2 position is responsible for independently producing precision metal components using CNC and manual machines. This role requires advanced machining knowledge, the ability to interpret complex blueprints, and proficiency with precision measuring instruments. The Machinist 2 serves as an experienced operator who may assist with training entry-level machinists and contributes to maintaining production efficiency and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual machines independently. • Load, save, and manage CNC programs; make program adjustments as needed. • Verify part dimensions using precision tools such as calipers and micrometers. • Ensure production accuracy and adherence to quality standards. • Modify programs and change tooling as required. • Assist in training and mentoring less-experienced machinists. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. • Operate a forklift and comply with all PPE and safety requirements. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training in Machining Technology, Precision Manufacturing, or CNC Programming preferred. Experience: Minimum 3 years of machining experience, including 3–5 years operating and programming CNC lathes and mills. Skills: • Advanced blueprint reading and interpretation. • Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools. • Working knowledge of G and M codes. • Strong understanding of machining processes and manufacturing workflows. • Certifications: Forklift and OSHA 10/30 preferred. Additional Information $1/hour incentive bonus available for employees proficient in Mastercam or full CNC programming. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Work is primarily performed indoors in a manufacturing environment.
