Reputable restoration company looking for a qualified Estimator with experience in insurance claims restoration work. Xactimate experience a plus but can train the right candidate. We are seeking an experienced Restoration Estimator to join our team! This position requires a person who is self-motivated, possesses great attention to detail, has excellent organizational and time management skills, and great customer service abilities. Responsibilities: -Visit new assignments/jobs, meet with clients, and sell the job. -This is a sales position. -Create a scope of work for each new project, develop estimates using Xactimate, and create a budget for each project. -Scope and assess damages at the site, create an estimate, and submit it to management and the insurance company. -Create job estimates and change orders using Xactimate software. -Allocate resources for assigned projects. -Manage deadlines efficiently. -Manage multiple projects and follow up. -Pursue new jobs/assignments, connect with potential clients, insurance adjusters, and property managers. -Create and maintain relationships with clients, adjusters, sub contractors, vendors, etc. -Sell services through on-site visits, calls, and updates to clients, including property owners and insurance adjusters. Qualifications: -Previous experience in property restoration estimating or related fields. -Familiar with restoration software - Xactimate knowledge, 1-3 years experience preferred. -Familiar with insurance billing, guidelines, and coverages. -Valid driver's license. -Experience working with property claims and building relationships with insurance adjusters and closing claims efficiently. -Strong leadership qualities. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Strong negotiation skills. -Deadline and detail-oriented. -Highly organized. -Self motivated and driven.
