The Daily Pint in Santa Monica, CA, is hiring!!! We are looking for Bartenders and Barbacks to work at our storied bar. The Daily Pint is a true neighborhood bar and we have been at this same location for decades!! We are looking for high energy individuals to join our team!! If you feel you can be a great asset to our team, email a detailed resume to baronpicollc@gmail.com • Previous experience in bartending or a related role preferred • Must be 21 years of age or older • Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, draft beer, cocktail recipes, and drink preparation techniques • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately • Familiarity with POS systems, such as Toast POS, is a plus • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required • Satisfying patron requests in a timely manner • Assessing customer preferences and making drink recommendations • Checking identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers • Keeping a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories • Cleaning the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment • Organizing the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory • Slicing, pitting, and preparing fruit garnishes for drinks • Planning bar menus • Creating unique drinks • Complying with all food and beverage regulations • Limiting customer problems by restricting alcohol intake and attempting to curtail inappropriate behavior • Ability to handle tense situations calmly and rationally Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
