1969 Blue Line Ampeg SVT - $3,750

Letting go of my 1969 SVT. If you know these early Ampegs then you know serial numbers are iffy but this one starts with 090 which, based on available information, indicates this is an October 1969 first year of production amp. Another indicator that this is a very early model is the warning on the back left of the chassis. It is a slightly different layout than later revisions. Every other SVT I have seen with this warning layout is also from 1969. For being almost 56 years old, I think it is in very good to excellent condition. I tried to included pictures of all the small tolex nicks around the edges. As essentially all of these old SVTs had done, it was converted to 6550s at some point and also had the power cord replaced. It has a clean bill of health from a local tech and only around 4 hours of playtime on the current set of tubes. These amps are getting harder and harder to find and are really a piece of music history. Hoping this one finds a good home. Thanks!
