Beacon Hill's client, a national law firm, is seeking a contract litigation attorney for their Sacramento, CA, office. Location: Sacramento, CA 95826 (Hybrid - must be available for in-office work as needed) Duration: Ongoing, potentially 6+ months with the possibility of direct hire (Concurrent employment not permitted) Hours: 40-hour workweeks Qualifications: Active California bar licensed in good standing 1+ year of experience in insurance defense and/or other defense-side litigation attorney experience. Duties (including but not limited to): Drafting discovery, preparing expert disclosures, and covering simple depositions. Legal research, briefing, procedure, and advocacy. This position would potentially involve supporting a partner in trying cases in front of a jury, when possible.
