Room for rent in a house— $1300/month Located in the Y, 1 mile from the Camp Richardson bike path and far from downtown traffic. The house is about 1650 square feet, with a big front, side, and back yard. It features a washer/dryer combo unit, a beautiful brand new kitchen with marble counter tops and a big sink, a large common space with a nice TV and speakers, 2 full bathrooms, a bear box for trash, a wood burning fireplace, and reliable gas heat that works even when the power goes out. In winter there is room in the driveway for 2 cars, and I usually keep a part of the yard dug out for a 3rd car. One of the bathrooms belongs to you entirely, the other one is shared. Potential tenants would be okay with signing a one year lease, and can pass a credit check/provide some references for the owner. There is also a $1750 deposit, though it is possible we can split this up into the first 3 months. You would live with me, we would share the common space and kitchen. I am a 40 yo single male. I work half from home and half at the Nugget hotel/casino, and leave the house a lot to run, hike, and ski. I’m into electronic music, basketball, artsy stuff, outdoor adventures, and I’m 420 friendly. I would rather not have pets but it is negotiable. The room is available for immediate rental and can be pro-rated based on your move in date. Utilities are negotiable, I may be down to subsidize them, but in the winter we should at least split the gas bill. Please don’t be afraid to ask me anything.
