Job Summary: The P&D Driver position is a full-time role that supports the Operations Team with the pick-up and delivery of portable restrooms and other sanitation equipment in a safe, timely, and courteous manner. Supporting the operations of the company, the P&D Driver position ensures that all his/her efforts are compliant with the company’s goals, values, and standards. Job Description: The primary responsibilities of the P&D Driver position include, safely completing daily service routes in sequence as routed by dispatch personnel. Delivering, installing, and pickup of toilets, holding tanks, freshwater systems, hand wash stations as needed. Responsible for completing daily routes, while maintaining professional customer contact and open lines of communication with Dispatcher and Operations Manager. The P&D Driver may also serve as a support to interdepartmental teams needs or service routes and should possess a valid (and in good standing) CA driver’s license (Class C). Examples of daily tasks are as follows: Inspect and test the vehicle and equipment daily to ensure it operates safely and correctly. Safely operate a Pick-up/Delivery Service truck daily Ensure truck is loaded with all necessary equipment and materials to complete all work assigned for the day and the load is correctly secured Repair portable restroom units as necessary Provide onsite moves of equipment, and pick-up/delivery as requested Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, maintain truck logs Load and unload units Frequent customer interaction, including recommendations for any additional services and supplies needed Excellent housekeeping of assigned vehicles and facility Perform duties safely at all times, maintain safe and clean and safe work area, and attend all tailgate and trimester/quarterly safety meetings. Maintain professional demeanor and appearance at all times Job Requirements: CA Drives License C Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs. Self-Motivated and Willing to Learn Positive Attitude Toward Work General Knowledge of the Construction Industry Portable Sanitation Experience is a Plus, but not Required. Training is Provided on Products, Services, and Driver Qualifications and Procedures. Knowledge of Safety Practices May be Required to Work Overtime Work hours - 6:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday Full Time Employment: Competitive Pay: Compensation: $20-$30 Based on experience.
