Key Responsibilities: -Perform MIG welding in a variety of custom fabrication projects. -Stage, fit, and weld components in multiple placements and configurations. -Manage workload based on production schedules and project priorities. -Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications with accuracy. -Troubleshoot fabrication challenges and implement creative, practical solutions. -Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, following shop safety protocols. -Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the welding department. Requirements: -Experience: Minimum 10 years of MIG welding (pulsed MIG preferred). -Education/Training: Welding degree or certification strongly preferred. -High proficiency in: Blueprint reading, Welding in all positions, Grinding, plasma cutting, and oxy/acetylene cutting. -Strong work ethic, problem-solving ability, and commitment to quality. -Willingness to learn and adapt to specialized shop techniques. -Physical ability: Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 100 lbs.; repetitive grasping and rotating; able to work in physically demanding environments and confined spaces. -Work environment: Exposure to welding smoke, heat, and noise levels above 80 dB. *Applicants will be subject to a hands-on performance test as part of the application process* Position Details: -Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Occasional Friday overtime required) -Hours: 40 hours/week + OT as needed -Type: Full-time Benefits: -Health insurance – 55% employer-paid premium -Dental insurance – 100% employer-paid premium -50 hours of Sick & Safe Leave (accrued) -Paid Time Off (PTO) – accrual-based **Candidates with quality control experience will be prioritized** We’re excited to welcome a new team member who shares our commitment to quality, safety, and growth.
