Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced .NET Lead Application Developer to join DNR App Dev team. This role offers an opportunity to work in a mission-driven environment, supporting Iowa Drinking Water Data Portal and Water Allocation Compliance through a large portfolio of data collection and reporting applications. As a key member of our team, you'll be instrumental in driving our development initiatives and delivering secure, high-quality technical solutions to our customers. You will collaborate closely with teams to optimize development practices and automate pipelines that support large data volumes. This position requires attendance during standard business hours Monday through Friday, with initial on-site presence strongly preferred for orientation and team onboarding. As the .NET Lead Application Developer, you will: •    Have strong communications skills and the ability to work closely with a team. •    Have ability to read, understand, and create design documents. •    Have technical understanding of infrastructure components, their dependencies, and interactions between servers, virtual systems, networks,  databases, web applications, etc. •    Have ability to proactively participate in customer engagements, follow direction from team leads, work with customers, and participate in technical planning. •    Design and implement highly scalable DevOps processes to support the development and deployment of large-scale applications. •    Assess and improve coding and review practices, ensuring a high standard of code quality and security by integrating automated scanning tools into the development cycle. •    Proactively address technical debt before it escalates and ensure continuous improvement of development processes. •    Optimize processes around code branching, merging, and releases to facilitate seamless and efficient deployments.  •    Automate build and deployment processes, reducing manual effort and increasing operational efficiency. •    Enhance unit test and integration test coverage, ensuring application reliability and performance.

With the proper technique, and a focus on our client’s comfort, we keep up with their nail care and provide a much more relaxing and positive experience.   About the Job:   The role will require use of your own car to drive to each clients house and perform a nail trim and/or grind as well as any additional services they request (ear cleaning, pad moisturizing, pad shaving). Most clients are on a repetitive schedule allowing them to get to know you and become more comfortable with the services. This role will require working our pop up events. We currently have a 3hr pop-up every Saturday from 12-3pm. Additionally, we try and attend any and all pet centered events around Ventura & Los Angeles County. The pop ups are a great way to gain new clients by providing information about our services as well as providing services on-site during these events. We are looking to fill three shifts a week with hours ranging from 16-20hrs per week. The working hours are: Friday (10am-6pm) and Saturday (8am-4pm). As the company grows, so will the opportunity for more hours.   What we are looking for:   Our ideal candidate loves animals and is confident reading their body language to understand their needs and discomforts. Responsibilities: Maintain all work equipment in good standing and utilize company magnets when working. Drive to the client's home & perform nail trim services (appointments are typically less than 15-20 minutes from arrival to payment.) Uphold safety standards and follow procedures for nail trimmings. Provide excellent customer service & ensure the well-being of clients during nail trims. Accept payment for services provided and reschedule/confirm next routine appointment Assure all tools are charging and prepared for the next shift. Qualifications: Valid driver's license with a clean record (no driving tickets or accidents in the last 3 years). Reliable mode of transportation to get to and from appointments daily. Previous experience working with animals, preferably as a vet tech, dog groomer, or similar role - Must already know how to trim and grind nails. Must be able to be on the ground with larger dogs, bend to accommodate smaller dogs, have the ability to lift 40lbs, and walk from car to house/apartment repeatedly throughout the day, including the ability to climb stairs daily. Comfortable using technology & the ability to learn our booking software. Benefits: First two weeks of training are paid at $16.50/hr. After completing training, pay raises to $19-$21/hr (based on experience) + tips. Tips are not guaranteed, but we’ve seen them range from $5 - $20/hr.
