Pollo Regio Distribution team is hiring experienced restaurant delivery drivers, driving 26' box truck to service our supply chain network. We are seeking customer focused drivers with a proven track record for safety and a desire to grow with the company. Responsibilities Interact with restaurant managers in a professional manner at all times. Complete daily maintenance checklist on truck and notify manager of any serious issue. Driving safely and unloading trucks. Ability to manage time and routes for streamline delivery experience. work well independently and familiarity with GPS devices or map apps. Requirements Proven working experience as a truck driver with a Standard Reefer Height 85" 91" 97" 103" & 16ft - 26ft. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations & DOT medical card. Motor Vehicle Record - MVR Requirement. NO more than two moving driving violations in the previous 2 years. NO convictions for DUI. NO at-fault accidents in the previous 2 years. NO hit-and-run or leaving the scene of an accident. NO Larceny/Theft record. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc). Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendation. May be required to take DOT physical. May be required to bend, stoop, twist, or reach. Must be able to lift 50 - 80 lbs. Distribution Center Supervisor, 2nd Shift
Position Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the warehouse processes are performed correctly and accurately by creating and implementing procedures, delivery employee training and monitoring key metrics. The Warehouse Supervisor is the subject matter expert on all technical and IT systems within the warehouse and is also responsible for ensuring OSHA compliance. He/she manages the Pick/Pack/Shippers, oversees the receiving, stocking, and shipping operations and ensures that cycle counts are performed on time and accurately. This is a hands-on management position.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ●       Mentors and coaches associates, insisting on the highest standards for production, quality, safety, and conduct. ●       Ensures that the fulfillment team employees are adhering to warehouse  policies and procedures ●       Monitors metrics to ensure that the fulfillment team is meeting established standards for production, quality,  and safety. ●       Ensures that all purchase orders are received within 48 hours and put away in the proper bins. ●       Ensures that cycle counts are performed on time and accurately. ●       Is responsible for the downstacking and the organization of all Inventory. ●       Works closely with Customer Service to ensure that returns are processed in a timely manner and shipped back to the vendor ●       Ensures that warehouse processes adhere to all military labeling requirements, warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements ●       Performs pick, pack, and ship operations utilizing best carrier and consolidating orders, as necessary ●       Ensures that all associates maintain training and certifications in Hazmat and Forklift Operations. ●       Maintains OSHA certifications and safe working conditions ●       Other job duties as required, defined by Warehouse Supervisor and/or GM   Experience, Education, Certifications: ●       Associates Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of experience and education ●       3-4 years of previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred ●       Valid and current forklift certification is a plus ●       Hazmat certification is a plus ●       Train the Trainer Certifications on Hazmat and Forklift Operations is a plus Competencies: ●       Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills ●       Knowledge of materials, warehouse processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods ●       Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills. ●       Ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment ●       Ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects while consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. ●       Ability to collaborate with team members and individuals to identify, communicate, and provide process improvement solutions for the organization.  Computer Skills: Knowledge of ERP systems, RF Smart WMS, UPS WorldShip, Fed Ex Ship Manager and Endicia Dazzle are a plus. RESPONSIBILITES: Assist with the flow of goods; shipping and receiving of product Obtain and process product orders (shellfish mostly) Receive, register and distribute product received by the warehouse Maintain the company stockroom/cooler through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items Assist with the logistic planning of product to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items Record keeping of goods shipped and received Ensure that the right products are delivered to that right location, on time Assist with local pick-up and delivery of products Assist with the assurance that quality, quantity, and customer satisfaction are met Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of coolers and warehouse orders Tracking and reporting to leadership: back-orders short-list items, and unfulfilled orders Requirements 1+ years, experience in warehouse operations Experience in shellfish/seafood, a plus Able to operate company inventory equipment (such as scan guns), required Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Able to provide support to department managers to achieve goals Able to maintain an environment that drives performance and a safe workplace ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds Work up to a 10-hour workday: standing/walking most of the day Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals Exposure to temperatures: Ability to work in wet and dry conditions Ability to work Monday-Friday, weekends when needed Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives North Coast Seafoods is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against otherwise qualified applicants on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, age, sex, marital status, national origin, disability or handicap, or veteran status.
