Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Coordinator to join our team. This position involves managing parts inventory, assisting customers, and coordinating with manufacturers and the corporate purchasing department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Greet customers and handle phone inquiries professionally. Assist customers (retail and shop) in selecting parts/items with a friendly and knowledgeable approach. Provide accurate price quotes and product details in person and over the phone. Process transactions efficiently and accurately at checkout. Manage special orders, notifying customers and relevant team members upon arrival. Monitor inventory levels, report out-of-stock items, and restock daily. Pull and fulfill orders from existing stock. Follow up on back-ordered items to ensure timely fulfillment. Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and maintain smooth operations. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Strong computer skills and ability to learn inventory management software. Some cash handling experience is preferred. Availability to work weekends as needed. Comfortable standing for long periods during shifts. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and problem-solving skills for effective customer interactions. Physical Requirements: This position requires regular standing, walking, hand use, reaching, and communication. Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, and activities like stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling are also required. Must be able to regularly lift up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 15 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, peripheral, and depth perception, with the ability to adjust focus. The work environment has a moderate noise level.
