You can also catch a glimpse of our luxury interiors on popular platforms like Netflix, Bravo, and CNBC.  Discover our services at vestahome.com ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Understand basic handling and protection of furniture Follow SOPs for proper use of wrapping materials Follow SOPs for proper lifting techniques Follow SOPs for proper use of material handling equipment Understanding and use of basic scanner functions involved in moving inventory throughout the warehouse Assist with loading/unloading trucks/containers consisting of boxes/packages of product/supplies Use material handling equipment to load and unload items safely Follow SOPs for proper packing and protection of items Follow SOPs for proper scanning of inventoried items to account for movement within the warehouse, or externally to job site location Assist in projects throughout the warehouse to keep products stored in a clean, organized, and safe manner Assist with quality control of products throughout the distribution process by visually inspecting items for damages and blemishes. Use of Order Picker forklift (after completion of provided training) Understand inventory SKU and S/N designations. Understand proper usage of material handling equipment. Properly uses PPE as needed Capable of performing basic cleaning and minor refurbishing of products There are two schedules available for this position: 1st Shift: 5am-1:30pm, Mon-Fri 2nd Shift: 2pm-10:30pm, Mon-Fri There is an occasional need for additional assistance on Saturday as dictated by business need. Position: Bar Shop Technician Pacific Trail Manufacturing is looking to fill an entry level metal worker position on our manufacturing floor located in SE Portland. We’re a small business looking for someone interested in learning new skills and responsibilities. The person in this position will be working in our bar shop to build new and rework used chainsaw bars. This is not the typical loading and unloading automated machinery. These are all manual machines that require your attention to detail. We make larger than normal chainsaw bars that are up to 70lbs which you will need to manually handle and manipulate on and around our machines. The ideal applicant will be able to work as a team member, on-time, follow multi-step verbal communication and will strive for manufacturing best practices and cleanliness. Somone who is interested in learning new, unique skills and metal working would fit well in this role. Responsibilities: Manually manipulate heavy steel bars on and around machinery for the majority of the shift. This involves using various tools such as angle grinders, belt grinders, anvils, hammers and more. Qualifications: Physically able to perform demanding responsibilities. Attention to detail with good eyesight. Good verbal communication skills to follow multi-step verbal instructions. 3+ years of work experience (in any job or military position).
