Parallel Employment is currently seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our dynamic team. As a Forklift Driver, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring that materials are moved efficiently and safely throughout the facility. Responsibilities: Operate forklifts to transport materials and products to designated locations within the warehouse. Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers. Organize inventory in storage areas. Conduct regular safety checks on equipment to ensure safe operation. Adhere to all company safety protocols and guidelines. Assist with inventory control and perform cycle counts as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications: Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Valid forklift operator certification is preferred. Ability to lift heavy materials up to 50 lbs regularly. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills. Pay: $17- per hour, 1st shift Monday - Friday 6:30pm - 3:00pm 2nd shift Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm Pay: $18.40 Requirements Requirements: Proven experience as a forklift operator. As a 10-Ton Forklift and Combi-Lift Operator, you'll be the driving force in handling and moving materials efficiently and safely within our Sloan facility. In your role, you will: Material Handling: Operate levers or controls to manipulate lifting devices like forklifts, hoists, or elevating platforms for the purpose of loading, unloading, or transporting materials. Equipment Operation: Safely operate gasoline- or electric-powered forklifts to move materials across various areas including loading docks, processing zones, and storage sectors. Load and Unload: Whether manually or mechanically, load or unload materials from transport vehicles such as pallets, skids, or cars. This driver position safely operates a 24-foot box truck and/or Stake Bed Truck and is responsible for loading, unloading and transporting Residential waste containers, to and from customers' homes. Driver is also responsible for breaking down containers to optimize space in truck. Driver is also responsible for removal of discarded items from customers' homes, such as furniture, appliances, mattresses, etc. Drivers will navigate driveways, alleyways, lots, high traffic roadways and may operate in tight overhead environments. Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essential, to successfully perform this job. Drivers must be able to function a smart phone device. Required hours may be up to the legal limits allowed and may require weekend work. Work hours will vary by route. Average day for our drivers is between 9 to 10 hours. Duties and Responsibilities • Operates vehicle in accordance with the company’s Rules and Safety.
