Myers, FL As a family-owned emergency and specialty veterinary hospital, we offer advanced and specialized veterinary services to our guests and referring veterinarians. The technician will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to pets in critically emergent situations. An emergency veterinary technician plays a critical role in emergency veterinary care, focusing on the initial assessment and prioritization of patients based on the severity of their condition. Shift Differentials: Sunday - Thursday Night differential $4.00 (7:30p - 7:30a) Friday/Saturday Night differential $6.00 (7:30p - 7:30a) Saturday/Sunday Daytime differential $2.00 (7:30a - 7:30p) Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, required Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT), preferred Previous experience in specialty and/or emergency veterinary medicine, preferred Strong knowledge of veterinary medical protocols and procedures Excellent technical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle and restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Flexibility with working schedule, including availability for on-call, weekend shifts and holidays. Title: Sushi Chef Reports to: Managers, General Manager Summary of Position: Assist in all sushi functions, including preparation and maintenance of quality standards. Represent the brand to SL guests through service standards and menu execution. Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare and serve menu according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, plating, and serving standards. Follow the SL Sushi Chef Steps of Service to ensure consistent hospitable service. When applicable, ensure that all products are ordered according to predetermined product specifications, received in correct unit count and condition, and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures. Help control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas, product storage procedures, standard recipes and waste control procedures. Maintain proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points. Assist with department inventory when asked. Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of experience in varied sushi operations. Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel and guests. Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
