Make a difference with your mornings! Community Nutrition Program seeks Part-Time Dining Site Assistants in Belmont to help run our community dining program for older adults. This program helps alleviate hunger and isolation among the elderly by providing nutritious meals in a community setting where attendees can socialize together and with volunteers and staff. This position offers $18.00/hour for a 15-hour work week: Monday-Friday from 10:30 AM- 1:30 PM. Benefits include paid holidays, sick, and vacation time QUALIFICATIONS: Must be organized, efficient, and enjoy working with older adults. Willing to occasionally cover at other dining sites as needed and be able to lift 25 lbs. Willing to attend staff meetings every other month at Springwell in Waltham. Work every day doing something different depending on the needs of a complex Nutrition Program. Springwell is looking for a Part-Time Traveling Community Food Service Worker to help cover daily operations needs including delivering meals and staffing staging or community dining sites for the Springwell Nutrition Department. This position provides a flexible person with the opportunity to help support a program providing hunger relief and decreasing isolation for older adults in Waltham and Marlborough (position is based out of one location or the other, not both). POSITION DESCRIPTION: Duties are included but not limited to: meal delivery to elders, serving meals at elder lunch sites, and other projects as assigned. Springwell is seeking an enthusiastic and flexible Care Coordinator to join our growing Housing team. This position is based at a newly contracted affordable housing site for older adults and people with disabilities in Franklin. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Spend 25 hours each week on-site in Franklin to support all residents of the building. The remaining time each week will be spent providing on-site coverage and support at other Springwell housing sites located throughout the service area. Establish regular office hours to provide consultation and assistance for all residents of the building. Offer referrals and resource information to residents Develop and facilitate daily social and educational activities for residents Effectively communicate and collaborate with housing management staff and community professionals. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in Social Work, human services, nursing, psychology, sociology or related field preferred. Candidates with a degree in another discipline must demonstrate experience and/or strong interest in the field of human services via previous employment, internship, volunteer activity and/or additional studies. Social Work license or eligibility for MA Social Work license preferred. One year experience in human services field required. Experience coordinating activities for older adults preferred. Experience with managing a variety of mental health issues preferred. Experience working with computers, entering data and running reports.
