Golden Castle ADHC is looking for a Janitor! The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the Adult Day Health Care center. This position ensures all areas of the facility, including program spaces, offices, restrooms, dining areas, and common areas, are cleaned and maintained to support the health and well-being of participants, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities: 1. Clean and sanitize restrooms, dining areas, program rooms, offices, and hallways daily. 2. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas. 3. Collect, empty, and dispose of trash and recycling in proper containers. 4. Maintain cleanliness and safety in participant areas, including wiping tables, sanitizing chairs, and ensuring spills are promptly cleaned. 5. Refill restroom and facility supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, hand sanitizer). 6. Assist in cleaning kitchen/dining areas, including floors, counters, and trash removal. 7. Ensure high-touch surfaces (doorknobs, handrails, light switches, etc.) are regularly disinfected. 8. Report any maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, facility damage) to supervisor. 9. Maintain janitorial supplies and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed. 10. We play outside with dogs, so you must be able to handle the cold, the heat, the dirt and dog slobber! This definitely is not a job where you are sitting down looking at your phone and just petting puppies. The ability and passion to follow instructions and follow a project list is important.
