About the Role: As an In-Home Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in the Los Angeles. Details: In-Person Tutoring in Los Angeles CA Earn $25-$35 per hour Choose from Before & Afterschool Hours or weekends (~10-20 hours per month) Your Responsibilities: Conduct engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions for students with special education needs. Develop personalized lesson plans and strategies that align with each student’s IEP. Adapt materials, assessments, and teaching methods to fit the unique learning styles and needs of each student. Track and document student progress, making adjustments to teaching methods as necessary. Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and special education teams for a cohesive learning experience. Keep open communication with parents or guardians, discussing student progress and addressing concerns. Foster a safe and inclusive environment that supports emotional and behavioral growth. The After Care Program Coordinator oversees all aspects of the after-school program for students in Early Childhood through 8th grade, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment aligned with the mission of SHA. Beloved Community Charter School is seeking a reliable, energetic individual to supervise and support our scholars during their lunch, recess and aftercare classes. Following the direction of the Lunch/Aftercare Coordinator and Principal, the Lunch/Aftercare Aide will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to the following daily tasks: Guiding groups of students to/from the lunchroom and classroom and/or play area in a single file line and redirecting behavior when needed i.e, quiet in the hallways, hands to themselves, staying in a single file line. Assist in maintaining an orderly and safe atmosphere in the cafeteria, during recess (indoor or outdoor) and in the aftercare classroom by helping and supervising students. Ensure that scholars remain seated in assigned areas throughout lunch or aftercare. Remind and redirect scholars about expectations for safe and respectful behavior in the cafeteria, recess areas and aftercare classroom. Help keep cafeteria tables clean for the next meal seating or class Stay with your assigned classes during your shifts, unless directed otherwise. Accompany scholars during transitions to ensure smooth transitions Offer help for homework during aftercare classes Circulate in classrooms to make sure scholars are following school rules.
