Arena Security serves various functions depending on the event and staffing need. This position helps create a positive guest experience by helping to maintain safety, security, and consistency throughout all events. Welcome guests to arena in a positive way while observing the Clear Bag Policy and conducting security screenings utilizing Walk Thru Metal Detectors, Hand Held Security Wands and thorough clutch and diaper bag checks. Enforce arena policies to facilitate a safe and enjoyable experience for all in attendance: this includes watching for vaping, smoking, fowl language, underage drinking etc. Adhere to specific event guidelines as outlined by the MOD during briefing. Monitor arena to identify potential hazards or situations and communicate these to the MOD & Lead CMS. Provide support to guest services staff regarding guest complaints and incidents Diligently monitor and observe backstage areas, bus parking, crowds, and tunnels for potential issues. Provide security for performers and/or players depending on the event. Assist with other duties as assigned Requirements:Must have 1-2 years previous security experience working with the public in an event type setting or customer service space. law enforcement or military security also qualifies. Must be willing to engage with patrons in difficult situations when necessary. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs. Occasionally assist with set up/ tear down (chair set) Will always have support of CMS and BPD (if necessary) 5. Must commit to working 60% of the published/ticketed events each month. Wanted - Armed Security Officers: Our company is looking for on-call Armed Security Officers in the Salinas and Monterey area to stand next to and protect technicians while they are working on atm machines. Our company is the only security company in California providing this type of service with multiple bank clients including Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Chase, Union, and Altura Vista Credit Union just to name a few. We are looking for responsible people with a valid California guard card and an exposed firearm permit. You must also have a drivers license, your own weapon, and your own vehicle. Pay: The pay is $75 per atm completed. Each atm takes approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete. You will receive approximately 1-2 atms per day. Our company may recieve atm services calls 7 days per week between the hours of 9am to 9pm. The call volume may grow if we are able to over each call with no issues. Payday is every Friday. How it works: Our company covers the entire state of California and provides service to multiple bank clients. Our company will be notified by the client once an ATM technician requests an Armed Security Officer to stand next to the ATM while the technician works on the atm. Our company would then contact one of our Armed Security Officers via text message to respond to this guard request. The Security Officer then has 30-90 minutes to arrive onsite with the technician.
