As a mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance services, diagnostics, inspections and repairs on a variety of equipment and vehicles in support of our daily operations. Essential Duties - Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery. - Adjust brakes, tighten bolts and screws, and reassemble equipment. - Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure they are in proper operating condition. - Use hand-tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, or precision instruments, as well as power tools, such as pneumatic wrenches. - Perform janitorial services for building. - Assist customers with vehicle releases. - Deliver equipment, parts, or tools to various worksites upon request. - Perform other duties as assigned. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to operate overhead hoist and any other equipment necessary to perform duties. Able to operate a forklift and pallet jack. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for most of the shift. Some climbing, crawling, and/or kneeling may be required. Valid driver's license needed.
