Express Employment is seeking a dedicated Electrical Assembly Technician for an exciting role based in Toledo that involves travel. In this position, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting electrical components to ensure they meet specific standards and requirements. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are willing to travel to various job sites as needed. Responsibilities Assemble and wire electrical components according to specifications and schematics Conduct tests on assembled components to verify functionality and compliance Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as they arise Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety standards Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records Travel to various locations for on-site assembly and support as required Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficiency Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical assembly preferred 1-3 years of experience in electrical assembly or related field Strong understanding of electrical components and assembly processes Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints Proficient with hand tools and assembly equipment Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Willingness to travel for job assignments Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices

Run distillation units by connecting feed, product, and sludge tanks and apply proper amount of heat from boilers and maintain operating hourly logs to insure that unit is operating at peak efficiency Conducts Solvent recovery for the chemical manufacturing production units via a trio of distillation columns Charge and discharge pot stills with appropriate gallon amounts of liquid to run product to specifications Basic knowledge and understanding of Plant Utilities to include but not limited to:  Steam/Condensate, Cooling Water, Chilled Water, Nitrogen, Air Drier and Compressors, and Process Water Basic knowledge and understanding of common plant equipment to include but not limited to:  Condensers, Heat Exchangers, Safety Vents, Conservation Vents, Rupture Discs, Control Valves, Automatic On/Off Valves, Centrifugal Pumps, Diaphragm Pumps, and Various Valves (Ball Valves, Butterfly Valves, Gate Valves). Basic knowledge and understanding of Distillation Columns and their Operations. Ability to learn or previous working experience with ERP Systems such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards to be able to enter Work Orders for equipment repairs and coordinating with the Maintenance Department. Basic knowledge and understanding of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations is a plus, but not required. Basic knowledge and understanding of the following Control Devices is a plus, but not required:  Steam Stripper for the stripping of solvents from wastewater, Thermal Oxidizer / Ground Flare, and Cryogenic Condenser. Working experience with Safe Work Permits, Hot Work Permits, Line Break Permits, Lock-Out Tag-Out Permits, and Confined Space Permits. Documentation skills and techniques.  Ability to record information in Log Books and record data/information in Batch Sheets. Basic knowledge and understanding in pulling representative samples (liquid samples) from process operations.
