Fix2Ride TTR is family owned and operated and has been since 2020. Offering full-time opening for a semi truck & trailer mechanic. Work is M-F with 1/2 day on some Saturdays. Vast majority of trucks are Freightliner Cascadia, Volvo, Kenworth with PACCAR or Cummins engines and approximately 90% of the fleet is newer than seven years old. Compensation: Hourly + Overtime (pay rate depends on experience) Paid weekly: direct deposit or check. Overall Position Requirements include but are not limited to: Heavy duty (class 8) truck & trailer work (from basic to complex depending on experience) such as: - Preventive truck & trailer maintenance (oil changes, grease jobs, fluids, filters, etc.) - Corrective truck & trailer maintenance (simple components to entire sub-systems/ assemblies) - Air brake systems - Pneumatic/hydraulic systems - Tire changes/rotations/repairs (everyone shares this responsibility as needed) - Other maintenance/shop tasks as assigned - Detailed documentation of all work performed is required - Pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol tests - Maintain a valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus!) - Dealer experience or Tech school experience is a plus!
