Armstrong Growers is Hiring Drivers for Seasonal and Full Time positions. Founded in 1889 Armstrong is a Wholesale Grower of Quality Plants Products. We are a highly motivated team that enjoys the growing process and the satisfaction of delivering our Quality product. We are hiring Class B and C drivers to make Local deliveries of live plants. Some drivers are needed to deliver to Central California and Northern California. Other drivers are needed for local routes as well. Local drivers are paid hourly. Candidates must have at least one year’s driving experience and a clean DMV record. Class C Drivers start at $19-20 per hour – Class B- $21-22 depending on experience as well. Maintenance Helper – In-House Mechanic Shop We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Helper to assist our in-house mechanics and help keep our fleet in top condition. This is an entry-level position that plays a key role in supporting repairs, upkeep, and cleanliness of company trucks. After 90-Day Probationary Period: • Health Benefits Package including Medical, Vision & Dental • 401K Option • Life Insurance Policy Responsibilities: • Assist mechanics with basic tasks, tools, and shop organization. • Perform routine cleaning of trucks inside and out (washing, vacuuming, detailing). • Help with shop upkeep and cleanliness. • Support preventative maintenance by checking fluids, tires, and other simple inspections. • Pick up and organize parts or supplies as directed. • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, safe work area. Qualifications: • No prior mechanic experience required; willingness to learn is a must. • Strong work ethic and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and follow instructions. • Comfortable with physical work, including cleaning and basic vehicle care. • Valid driver’s license preferred.

Soup du Jar is an up and coming boutique food company that offers farm to table soups, sauces, salsas, bone broth, and dressings. We distribute almost exclusively via farmer's markets and online delivery. We've added an additional route and are seeking a delivery driver on Sundays to assist in the loading of products at our Thousand Oaks distribution location. The day starts early (usually around 5:30am). You'll then drive our truck (MB Sprinter 3500) to drop off products at several farmer's market locations in the Los Angeles area. This will include offloading the coolers, canopy, banner, tables and other items as required to set up our booth. Next, you'll then deliver orders to local residences. Last, you'll pick up at each of the farmer's markets in the early afternoon and return back to our Thousand Oaks location. It's a long but rewarding day as Sunday traffic is light and we pay overtime! Keep in mind, the day starts when you pick up the truck at our kitchen in Thousand Oaks. If you live far from here, this is likely not the right fit for you (sorry). Note: A background check is required, including your Motor Vehicle Record from the DMV. We are hiring Class A drivers to make deliveries of live plants from our Santa Paula yard to Northern California, Las Vegas Utah and Arizona on a 2 day turn around. These trips are paid at $0.55 cents per mile and $30 per drop plus layover time. We are also hiring locals Class A drivers. Local drivers are paid $24.-25.00 per hour depending on experience. Candidates must have at least one year Driving experience and a clean DMV record. We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits.
