We are a local trucking company looking for an experienced, reliable OTR 26ft Box truck drivers and CDL licensed drivers if applying for the Semi Driver position. No CDL is required for the Box Truck driving position. REQUIREMENTS: - Driver must be willing to go OTR for at least one month at a time - Clean driving history and current MVR - Clean Background - Current DOT med card - Minimum of two years driving box trucks (26ft or similar) - Reliable and on time - Knowledge of GPS/ELD/Logbooks - Must have a smartphone and ability to operate it - Clear communication (will need to relay info to dispatcher and/or management in timely manner) - Flexible hours (including weekends and holidays), although we strive to work with our drivers as much as possible to provide some life balance. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds - Good knowledge of DOT regulations - Good driving behavior - Ability to work independently - Strong attention to detail - Ability to problem-solve on the go - Good time management skills and a self-starter - Hard Working and a Can do attitude Job Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Conduct a pre-trip and post trip inspection of the truck - Operate a box truck in a safe, and Efficient manner - Plan efficient routes to deliver goods on time - Transport goods to and from various locations as booked - Load and unload freight/cargo if needed - Inspect and maintain the vehicle and its equipment - Maintain accurate logbooks/ELD Logs - Be very organized, and have a great time management skill - Always maintain the truck in a clean and sanitary condition at all times. - Respond to vehicle maintenance needs promptly and performed minor repairs when needed - Follow all traffic laws and regulations, Knowledge of cell phone/GPS/ELD/Logbooks and maintain ELD Logs - Communicate effectively and respectfully with dispatcher, customers and colleagues to coordinate deliveries - Complete necessary paperwork and documentation.
