Unassigned FedEx Solo Driver (Stockton, CA). 100% no touch freight, all drop and hook. Never bump a dock.
At JAK Logistics, we are seeking a full time professional Class A driver with doubles endorsements for our Unassigned Stockton run. This schedule may rotate days dependent on HOS and timing of freight demands. The truck is parked in Sacramento and dispatches PM in Stockton.
This is a LOCAL position. No owner operators. Driver must have a minimum one year of tractor trailer experience pulling doubles within the last three years or three years of driving experience within the last five years. Home daily. Mileage and runs will vary. You would run Thursday night through Monday night. 10 PM dispatch in Stockton. Text or email only 7 AM - 7 PM. Do not call. Driver must be tech savvy enough to complete monthly online training, a pre, en-route, and post trip inspection process with a company app, and the new hire onboarding process, which can all be done from any smartphone. Weekly pay with direct deposit paid every Friday.
Monthly cell phone payment available.
FedEx approved active drivers/drivers currently working for FedEx are strongly preferred. Veterans also preferred. Otherwise qualified candidates will be considered.
Requirements:
Doubles / Triples endorsement required. No Hazmat required.
Minimum of 1 year of tractor trailer experience required.
Dependable transportation is required. Trucks are not taken home. You must be ready to show up on time every week with no call offs. You must be willing to adhere to all FedEx and company policies.

Your truck is a 12 speed automatic 2023/2024 Freightliner with refrigerator, microwave, and power inverter. We have a Ryder maintenance program so our fleet stays maintained. If there is a breakdown on the highway, road service is just a call away. If the truck can’t be repaired then a subunit will be brought out to you, minimizing down time.
