In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring quality control, client satisfaction, and operational excellence across a variety of facilities—industrial, manufacturing, medical, office, retail, and more. You’ll work closely with our Independent Contractors (ICs) and Facility Solutions Manager to maintain top-tier service while managing inspections, handling client concerns, and driving continuous improvement. What You’ll Do: Build strong relationships with Independent Contractors, communicate client priorities, and collaborate on solutions. Review scopes of work to guarantee quality assurance and maintain service standards. Perform client site visits in the evenings ensuring compliance with policies and expectations. Manage inspections, address customer complaints, and oversee new client starts to maintain high levels of satisfaction. Execute City Wide’s operational policies, including New-Start, Customer Complaint, and Four-Star Policies. Ensure proper use of approved cleaning tools and compliance with client procedures. Provide nightly recaps to the Facility Solutions Manager and escalate issues as needed. Schedule: Shift: Night shift, starting at 5:00 PM and ending around 2:00-3:00 AM. Routed out by the Facility Solutions Manager at 5:00 PM, with site visits typically start between 7:00-10:00 PM. At Whiteline Express, you’ll keep our trucks and trailers running strong. You’ll handle diagnostics, maintenance, and full repairs on brakes, transmissions, rear-ends, clutches, diesel engines, electrical systems, and welding or fabrication work. You’ll remove, fix, reinstall, and adjust parts, inspect your work, and make sure everything meets safety rules and regulations. You’ll also lead the crew, assign tasks, check work, guide on tough repairs, and help train others. You’ll manage parts using TMT, handle after-hours repairs when needed, respond to service calls, and keep maintenance records up to date. You’ll open and close the shop and make sure everything runs smoothly and safely. We’re looking for someone with solid diesel mechanic experience (lead or supervisory experience is a plus), strong mechanical, electrical, and welding skills, and the ability to use diagnostic tools and repair software (TMT a bonus). You need a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willing to get one) and the flexibility to work varied hours, including after-hours calls. What You’ll be doing as a Diesel Mechanic: Supervise shift mechanics by assigning tasks, verifying completed work, and assisting with training and disciplinary actions as needed. Authorize and oversee after-hours repairs in alignment with company policies and procedures. Manage parts inventory using TMT, including ordering, receiving, and tracking of parts and supplies. Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and full-service repairs on heavy-duty vehicles and trailers, including work on brakes, transmissions, rear-ends, clutches, diesel engines, electrical systems, and welding/fabrication tasks. Remove, repair, reinstall, and adjust vehicle components; conduct thorough final inspections to ensure all repairs meet federal and state safety regulations. Complete detailed work orders and maintain accurate maintenance and repair records. Respond to on-site service calls and provide support as needed. Collaborate with technicians and provide guidance on complex repairs and troubleshooting. Open and close the maintenance facility, ensuring readiness and security of operations. Diesel Mechanic Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a diesel mechanic; supervisory or lead technician experience preferred. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair software (experience with TMT a plus). Strong mechanical, electrical, and welding skills. Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
