Job Summary: The Adult Therapist plays a vital role in delivering therapeutic services to adult clients experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life stressors. This role requires a high degree of empathy, clinical skill, and the ability to foster a safe and supportive treatment environment. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues in adult clients Build and maintain therapeutic alliances that support client safety, trust, and healing Create individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client Deliver therapy using evidence-based approaches including CBT, grief counseling, and interpersonal therapy Facilitate group counseling sessions when appropriate Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated Document therapy sessions and maintain clinical records in compliance with privacy and legal regulations Provide crisis intervention services as needed Collaborate with medical providers and other behavioral health team members to support comprehensive care Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements: Master’s degree in a behavioral health field such as Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology Active and valid Arizona state license, or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including work with individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use issues Proficiency in brief therapy models (e.g., Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Activation) and evidence-based treatments (e.g., CBT, Interpersonal Therapy) If you meet all of our criteria and would like to be considered, please apply with your most updated Resume/CV.
