We pride ourselves on being honest, agile, reliable, hardworking, and ultimately – winning as a team.   Job Overview The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of multiple industrial construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills as well as a thorough understanding of construction project management. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing projects from start to finish, a solid technical background, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Duties and Responsibilities Develop project objectives and completion schedule Lead the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring adherence to budget and timeline Coordinate resources, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary Manage project risks and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle Collaborate with various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices Resolve conflicts and mitigate issues that may arise during the project Review and approve project invoices, expenses, and change orders Conduct project inspections and quality control to ensure adherence to standards Mentor and provide guidance to project team members   Other duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously Strong leadership and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of project management software and tools Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices Professional certifications (PMP, CCM) are a plus

The State Accounting Office (SAO) provides accounting and financial reporting expertise for the State and is statutorily responsible for statewide financial reporting. The SAO also provides enterprise oversight and management of the State’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (Workday), accounting policy development, financial business process improvement recommendations, and management of the payroll and accounting shared service centers.  *Local candidates strongly preferred. 1-2 days onsite may be required and/or when requested for meetings. Out-of-state candidates (100%) will be accepted.  Job Description: The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall strategy, planning, management, and completion of projects supporting Payroll functionality within the core ERP solution and any supporting ancillary applications and/or solutions.     • You will partner with project team members across state agencies and vendors to develop project scope and use your project management              skills to manage project roles, identify resource requirements, define project deliverables and execute.
