A Discmaker - Specials manufactures special product rupture discs of the highest quality in a safe and cost-effective manner to ensure the best delivery in accordance with all company policies and manufacturing procedures. Requirements · Develop layout and plan sequence of operations to manufacture special product rupture discs by studying blueprints, shop orders and manufacturing procedures · Set up and successfully operate required equipment, including, but not limited to presses, punches, nibbler cutters, laser scoring and cutting equipment, hydraulic testers and lifts, dial indicators, co-bots and other automated and robotic equipment, and precision measuring tools. · Clean rupture disc components per required cleaning procedures · Assemble components into completed rupture discs · Perform burst tests and temperature testing on discs · Inspect completed rupture discs to verify that they conform to specifications · Comply with company productivity and quality requirements · Operate forklift as needed · Perform other duties as assigned, based on workload and business need EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: · High school diploma or GED · 1-3 months’ work experience in a production environment.  1-3 years prior rupture disc manufacturing experience is preferred. TECHNICAL / FUNCTION SPECIFIC: · Demonstrated excellent mechanical aptitude · Ability to think critically and independently to determine the best path to manufacture each Specials disc order. · Ability to read blueprints · Basic math and reading skills · Working knowledge of industrial equipment used in producing rupture discs · Computer skills BEHAVIORAL: · Willingness and ability to follow all manufacturing procedures and company policies · Attention to detail · Concern for quality, accuracy and safety · Ability to stay on task and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines · Positive attitude and ability to work well with others, including peers, supervisors, executive management and outside vendors, representatives and visitors when called upon PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: · Motor skills sufficient to successfully and safely use required tools and machinery · Ability to stand and/or walk for majority of scheduled shift, typically 8-10 hours per day, though possibly more when overtime is required · Using proper lifting techniques, ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed · Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and safety shoes · Ability and willingness to work overtime, including other shifts and weekends, as required per the needs of the business. Key Areas of Responsibility ● Assist with the load in operation, and load out of audio, video, and lighting equipment for all gatherings and events. ● Support production needs across all venues and spaces, including the auditorium, overflow rooms, and lobbies. ● Prepare stage elements, including microphones, monitors, cables, and speakers. ● Assist with operating or shadowing AVL positions during services, including running ProPresenter, camera operation, audio, lighting, and video switching. ● Maintain an organized, clean, and safe production environment. ● Drive a production truck to and from all venues. ● Serve alongside and support volunteer production teams during gatherings. ● Help track, store, inventory, and maintain production gear. ● Support troubleshooting and minor repairs on equipment, escalating larger issues to the Production Manager. ● Help prepare spaces and equipment for volunteer arrival and assist in training as requested. ● Participate in Production Team meetings, rehearsals, and training sessions. ● Schedule load in and load out volunteers and maintain updated training materials. ● Assist with production tasks for special events (prayer nights, worship nights, conferences, etc.). ● Perform basic system checks, firmware updates, or replacements during the week. ● Organize and prep gear for Sunday load-in, including labeling, testing, and packing equipment. ● Assist in resetting or maintaining storage spaces to ensure quick, efficient Sunday setups. ● Help prepare production run sheets, diagrams, stage plots, and checklists. ● Support volunteer communication and scheduling by preparing resources or sending reminders. ● Support other administrative and production projects as assigned by the TD. ● Perform other duties as assigned Requirements A Christian in submission to the authority of the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit, as evident in lifestyle.
