Install various parts onto coils, including steel pieces, padding, clips, and frames. Ensure core and coil units are assembled accurately according to set standards and customer preferences. Keep tools organized for smooth workflow. Inspect transformer cores carefully to ensure they meet quality standards and size requirements. Work well with team members and follow supervisor directions to meet production targets. Always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and adherence to company policies and procedures.   Additional Skills & Requirements:  High school diploma or GED required. Ability to read and understand job-related materials and perform basic math. Previous manufacturing and assembly experience preferred, not required. Proficient with manual and powered hand tools. Experience with hoist/crane operation is a plus. Comfortable with physically demanding tasks and working conditions. Background check, Drug & Physical Screening required.   Physical and Environmental Requirements  Lifting: Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted repeatedly as well as pushing and pulling. Electrical Maintenance Technician / PLC Systems Repair  Base Salary: $75,000 to $80,000 + $3,000 sign-on bonus + OT Eligible  Union Facility  We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician with a focus on electrical systems to join our team at our facility. This is an onsite, full-time role that is a core part of our maintenance team, supporting our manufacturing and production operations. Responsibilities Diagnose and Repair: You will diagnose, test, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment. This includes hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems; variable speed AC and DC motor drives; programmable logic controllers (PLCs); and combustion systems. PLC Troubleshooting: A key part of your role will be to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). You'll work with Allen-Bradley and Siemens systems, using the appropriate software (e.g., RSLogix, TIA Portal, Step 7) to identify and resolve logic, I/O, and communication issues. Troubleshoot and Inspect: You'll serve as a team member or leader to inspect and troubleshoot electrical and electronic malfunctions. Using instruments such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ammeters, you will test faulty equipment to identify the cause of the issue. Component Replacement: You will replace defective components and wiring, and adjust mechanical parts using both hand tools and soldering irons. Calibration and Maintenance: You'll align, adjust, and calibrate equipment according to specifications. You will also maintain detailed records of repairs, calibrations, and tests. Computer-Based Diagnostics: You will use computers to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade process control equipment and PLCs. Instruction and Collaboration: You may be required to instruct maintenance repair crews and collaborate with production teams for diagnostic and testing purposes. Requirements Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Experience: You must have a minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or an Associate's Degree in an electrical or mechanical-related curriculum. Experience with PLC troubleshooting, particularly with Allen-Bradley and Siemens systems, is highly preferred. Skills: You must be proficient in the repair and maintenance of complex electrical and electronic systems, including PLCs and motor drives.
