Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of production equipment Perform and assist with diagnosing & problem solving on mech./hydraulic and/or electrical systems Navigate CNC controllers and interpreting machine alarms Rebuild intermediate mechanical devices and CNC tools. Perform CNC machine alignment & jo blocking with occasional assistance Assist with fabrication of mechanical parts. Maintain production equipment, perform preventative maintenance and tool rebuild/repair. Use JIRA /Confluence software to create tickets, document job activity & communicate between shifts Assist with equipment moves and area layout changes. Participate in Lock-Out / Tag-Out programs and compliance. Ensure facility and campus ground are safe and well maintained. Clean and perform janitorial tasks and observe and report hazardous conditions. Document information related to work assignment, tasks, and departmental procedures. ·         Perform other duties as assigned.   Skills and Experiences You’ll Need as a Production Maintenance Technician 2: HS Diploma and ~5 years of job-related experience. Four-year Oregon state electrical license preferred. General knowledge of industrial machines including CNC machines and other industrial systems General knowledge/experience of CNC Controllers (such as Siemens, Fanuc, Mitsubishi) Proficiency with using measurement tools such as dial indicators, micrometers & pin gages Demonstrated mechanical ability and knowledge of basic mechanical repair practices. Ability to troubleshoot a wide range of electro- mechanical systems. Demonstrated ability to use equipment including mills, grinders, lates, welders and precision measuring equipment. Ability to read and work from mechanical drawings. Strong math and computer skills. Experience with equipment such as air compressors, boilers, and HVAC units. Forklift and Man-Lift licensed or ability to obtain these licenses preferred. Strong, collaborative team player with effective verbal and written communication skills. ·         Positive attitude with desire to learn.   Work Environment for a Production Maintenance Technician 2: Work takes place in a manufacturing environment with occasional outdoor work and with exposure to noise and chemicals. Ability to use PPE. Ability to stand or sit for long periods; Good visual acuity, and ability to use full range of motion. Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds with assistance. Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
