We have a position open for a CNC Operator in our machine shop. Job Qualifications: Ability to setup jobs on a CNC Mill and CNC Lathe Basic understanding of G code Knowledge of how to use and read Calipers and Micrometers The Ability to read blue prints. We are looking for a CNC Operator who has the skills, or is willing to learn the skills of a conventional machinist. The candidate should be willing to go through at a minimum our in house apprentice program learning more conventional machinists skills, like the ones shown below A Conventional Journeyman Machinist is a person who can do the following; 1: Setup a manual lathe, and is proficient at truing material in a 4 jaw chuck 2: Familiar with turning and boring long material in a steady rest 3: Have the ability to hold close tolerances 4: Proficient in reading and understanding drawings, layouts, and conventional millwork. Candidates must pass a written test which consists of measurements, conversions of fractions/decimals, and tool descriptions. A hands-on test may also be given if you pass the written test. Job requirements mig Welding. fabricate/assemble/Weld parts from blue prints and instructions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Good attendance and positive attitude with a strong worth ethic is a must!! Ability to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to read speak and understand English. Experience in sheet metal and structural fab and framework. Experience welding stainless and aluminum. Tig welding is a plus. One year of paid welding and fabricating experience or completion of college trade school training program that included welding Fabrication. Hours are Monday through Friday 8 to 5. 12 to 1 is lunch. Machine shop looking for experienced CNC Lathe Machinists. Machinists must have a minimum 6 years with strong set-up skills. Candidates must be able to work independently and inspect their own parts. Experience with Doosan 220's and live tooling a plus. A background of manufacturing close tolerance parts required. Good communication and math skills necessary. Job Summary: The Route Driver family of positions requires a current valid CDL, a satisfactory MVR (Motor Vehicle Record), an up-to-date medical card, and one years’ driving experience or equivalent classroom qualification. Must have a neat, clean appearance and the ability to pass a DOT (Department of Transportation) exam. Schedule: 5 day work week schedule with rotating Sundays and Wednesday off. Coverage area: Plymouth MA, Sagamore MA, New Bedford MA, West Bridgewater MA. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the safe operation of the Company vehicle while complying with all company, State and Federal regulations. Have a good, working knowledge of the assigned delivery route and be familiar with product handling requirements. Must represent the Company in a courteous, ethical and professional manner at all times. Must keep a vehicle operation log and report any necessary maintenance or other problems to the Distribution Supervisor daily and complete all necessary reports as required by DOT and HP Hood LLC. Deliver all products ordered in a timely manner and advise the Distribution Supervisor of any recommendations for improvements or problems needing attention on a daily basis. Keep accurate, daily records of accounts and collected cash. Must be able to work independently while supporting the Distribution Department. Work in a cooperative manner with managers, supervisors and peers. General Requirements: Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Able to demonstrate knowledge of safety areas reviewed in the safety orientation program. Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision. Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner. Maintain a clean & safe work environment. Perform all other related duties as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Current, valid CDL Reading & writing proficiency (English language) and ability to identify colors. Basic math skills.
