Assembly Technician The Position: Mechanical assembly, electrical wiring and pneumatic plumbing of packaging machines and their subsequent tools.  Facilitating effective collaboration with successful information flow throughout each project while supporting the organization and build-up of machine assembly at US plant.  Job Duties: Complete assembly of packaging machines and format tools at the Somic facility based on technical documents, 3D models and drawings Assisting unloading of truck or sea freight container Un-crating and unpacking of incoming machine and parts Staging of machines and components Assisting on endurance runs Assembly of format tools and format carts according to 3D models and drawings Assembly and levelling of machines and conveyors Electrical wiring and connecting of machine and control panel Pneumatic plumbing of machine and format tools Electrical and pneumatic installation of sub-assemblies and components Installation of sub-assemblies and components Ensuring high quality standards per company policies Optimizing installation procedures Making sure assignments are performed correctly and on time Ensuring machine safety and quality requirements are being met Ensure completion of assembly process documentation Requirements Industrial, electrical, and / or mechanical experience or similar technical training Experience working with technical documents and drawings Experience with machine assembly and installation is highly desirable Experience in working with pneumatic and electrical diagrams desirable Ability to read and understand 2D drawings and 3D models Must be reliable and accurate Forklift experience preferred but not required Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Ability to work independently if required Strong commitment to high quality standards Must be able to read, speak and write English Benefits Flexible working hours Pleasant working atmosphere 16 Days of annual PTO 10 Paid Company Holidays Medical, Dental and Vision Health Spending Plan (with Employer contributions) Employer paid Life/AD&D, Short & Long Term Disability Voluntary Life/AD&D – Employee, Spouse, and Children 401K Safety Glasses Allowance (prescription and non-prescription) Safety Boots Allowance Employee Referral Incentives

What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Economics, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or digital analytics within a high-growth consumer brand or eCommerce environment. Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with demand planning tools (Vanguard a plus) and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience with direct-to-consumer (DTC) and/or social commerce business models. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize insights from large datasets.
